14-year-old hospitalized after being hit by truck in central Fresno

It occurred round 8am on Thorn Avenue and Ashlan Avenue.

The California Freeway Patrol says the teenager was strolling on a pedestrian crossing when the pickup driver hit him.

Investigators say the motive force stopped and requested for assist. He advised the policeman he didn’t see the boy earlier than he hit him.
