Dhubri constituency is positioned in Assam’s Dhubri district.

It falls beneath the Dhubri Lok Sabha constituency.

Within the 2016 Meeting election, the constituency had a complete of 1,72,622 registered voters.

The voter turnout in Dhubri within the earlier Meeting election was 88.07 p.c.

Previous election outcomes and winners

Within the 2016 Meeting election, the AIUDF’s Najrul Hoque, with 60,928 votes, overwhelmed Impartial candidate Nazibul Umar, who obtained 36,847 votes.

Within the 2011 Meeting election, the AIUDF’s Jahan Uddin, with 53,937 votes, simply gained in opposition to Umar, who obtained 46,455 votes. Umar had contested the election in 2011 as a Congress candidate.

The Dhubri constituency is predicted to go to polls in April or Could 2021, as a part of the 2021 Assam Meeting election.

The Assam Meeting polls will likely be held to elect a complete of 126 Members of Legislative Meeting (MLAs).
