NEW DELHI: Eating places, inns and golf equipment in Delhi can now serve liquor due to a route given to the excise division by the Delhi authorities. The route comes a day after the Delhi Catastrophe Administration Authority (DDMA) allowed inns to renew operations. Bars, nevertheless, will stay closed.
In a letter despatched to Commissioner (Excise) on Thursday, deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia has written that a number of states have permitted service of liquor by license holders at tables in eating places and golf equipment and requested the excise division to difficulty permissions for service of liquor in Delhi’s eating places, golf equipment and inns too.
