Ferne McCann’s baby Finty had an unfortunate ‘poo explosion’ on Holly Willoughby during an appearance on This Morning.
The former TOWIE star, who is already mum to a daughter on Sunday, welcomed a baby girl with her businessman fiance Lorri Haines, 31, on July 6.
Ferne appeared on the ITV show on Tuesday, with Craig Doyle joking that there had been a ‘major incident’ on set before her interview.
Holly explained: ‘I needed a cuddle, I jumped straight in so Finty and I had a little cuddle but she sat down and had a release.
“But I always think it’s better outside than inside, we all felt relieved.”

Poo explosion: Ferne appeared on the ITV show on Tuesday, with Craig Doyle joking that there had been a ‘major incident’ on set before her interview
Ferne started laughing before saying, “Poop explosion! She has a bit of stage fright, bless her.”
Holly added: “We bonded at that point, didn’t we.”
Ferne said: ‘I was just panicking about your dress,’ but Holly confirmed her floral outfit had escaped the mess.
Elsewhere during the interview, Ferne spoke about motherhood and her home birth.
She said: ‘It was a nice experience with Lorri because with Sunday I was obviously a single parent.
‘He’s a hands-on father. I still do the night feedings because I don’t see the point of having two tired parents. He’s brilliant.’
Speaking about the new series First Time Mum, Ferne said: ‘This feels to me like it’s very, very real. They were with us for everything. I was hormonal and we had just started a new business. There are a few bickering people among them.
‘I’m so excited about the birth [to air] because I haven’t had the chance to talk about it yet.
“I didn’t push, I just breathed her out. I haven’t done any work. I was the vessel and Finty gave birth to herself. I had my home birth, things took a turn and I literally breathed her out. I surrendered.
‘If the birth went like this again, I would have another one tomorrow.’

Ferne and Lori announced their engagement last July after a whirlwind seven-month romance, with Ferne captioning a photo of herself and Lorri embracing at the time with: “So there is happily ever after. I can’t wait to do it forever with you, baby.”
She told This Morning viewers: ‘We might park the wedding. We don’t plan to. If all the bickering we had gets us this far, we’ll probably be in our seventies.’
In an interview with OK! magazine, Ferne shared that the couple has chosen to name their little one Finty Francis Haines-McCann.
Ferne said she chose Francis as her daughter’s middle name, using the traditional masculine spelling, to honor a very special family member.
Explaining the sweet reason for her middle name, Ferne said: ‘Francis is my grandfather’s name – it’s a nod to Grandpa Frank.’
The traditional name is of Latin origin and means ‘Frenchman’ or ‘free man’.
She then revealed the inspiration behind Finty’s unique name, saying: “I don’t know where I got that from, but when I typed it in [on Google ] I saw that Judi Dench’s daughter’s nickname is Finty.
“I’ve always loved it and never heard it anywhere else. I just feel so connected to the name – she came out and she was just Finty. I think she sounds like a character from Bridgerton.”

Happily ever after: Ferne McCann has announced her engagement to boyfriend Lorri Hanes, just seven months after going public with the property developer
And Ferne confessed she loved the names so much she was really hoping to give birth to another girl, joking that she sees herself as the ‘the Essex Kris Jenner’ with an ‘army of girls’.
She added that she can see herself having “two more” children, and said she would “have another child tomorrow” if she could, although she “couldn’t see myself” having a baby boy.
