Immediately add the boiled greens to a glass bowl crammed with chilly water and ice cubes to blanch them. Let the greens keep in ice-cold water for 10 minutes to cease the cooking course of. Now, drain the greens.
Unfold a kitchen towel on the slab. Add the blanched carrots to the towel and unfold them correctly on the towel. Now, use one other kitchen towel and dab the carrots with it gently to dry the carrots. Now maintain the carrots beneath a fan for an additional quarter-hour to dry the carrots fully.
