India scripted a memorable win at Lord’s within the second Check of the continued five-match sequence towards England final week. Reminiscing the victory, fielding coach R Sridhar sat down for a chat with ace off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin on the latter’s YouTube channel. Within the video, talking concerning the partnership between Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami, Sridhar shared an anecdote from Day 5 of the Lord’s Check. Sridhar advised Ashwin that when Shami and Bumrah have been making their solution to the dressing room at Lunch break, Kohli requested the entire group to cheer and welcome the duo by creating noise that “reverberates in Lord’s for years to come back”.
“Once we realised they have been going to come back in at lunch, Virat got here and stated: Everybody of us goes all the way down to cheer and welcome the boys. The noise needs to be so enormous that it has to reverberate in Lord’s for years to come back,” Royal Challengers Bangalore quoted R Sridhar as saying on Ashwin’s YouTube present.

Each groups will face off at Headingley in Leeds within the third Check match, beginning on Wednesday.
