JoJo Siwa Slams Nickelodeon For Treating Her As A Brand: ‘Does This Seem Fair?’

JoJo Siwa is pissed off with Nickelodeon and isn’t afraid to air her grievances publicly.

She tweeted on Tuesday about her points with the community and its affiliation together with her upcoming tour. “JoJo Siwa D.R.E.A.M. The Tour” has been rescheduled as a result of coronavirus pandemic is now scheduled to start Jan. 13, 2022.

The tour will embrace music from her 2018 EP, “D.R.E.A.M. The Music,” and her 2019 EP, “Rejoice.” However Siwa had hoped to additionally carry out a few of her newer songs, which she says Nickelodeon gained’t permit. 

“I’m going out on tour in January. My film musical was simply launched (with 6 new authentic songs)… Nickelodeon advised me right this moment that I’m not allowed to carry out/add any of the songs from the movie into my present. These are MY songs, MY voice, MY writing. Does this appear honest???” she wrote. 

“There isn’t any motive that this music shouldn’t be included,” she added. “Working for an organization as an actual human being handled as solely a model is enjoyable till it’s not.”

Nickelodeon has not responded publicly to Siwa’s complaints, and didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark.

Siwa, who has been signed with Nickelodeon since 2017, has appeared in movies together with “Blurt!” and the TV present “Lip Sync Battle Shorties.” She has additionally appeared on “The Masked Singer” and within the online game “Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix.”
