Kern Public Health holding back-to-school vaccine clinics

Kern County Public Health is hosting a back-to-school vaccination clinic at the Kern County Fairgrounds to help prepare families for the 2022-23 school year.

Vaccinations for children are essential because they help provide immunities before children are exposed to potentially life-threatening diseases, in addition to being a legal requirement  for students entering transitional kindergarten to seventh grade, according to a Kern Public Health news release.
