Expanding its product portfolio, smartphone brand Lava has launched another feature phone in India. Called the Lava Pulse, the handset is claimed by the company to be world’s first phone with heart rate and Blood Pressure sensor.

Lava Pulse comes in Rose Gold colour variant and is priced at Rs 1,949. The smartphone can be purchased online via Amazon and Flipkart along with offline retail stores across the country.

Lava Pulse is equipped with a 2.4-inch display. The handset features a polycarbonate body. It is equipped with an expandable memory of upto 32 GB. The smartphone is backed by a 1,800 mAh battery. It comes with super battery mode, which is claimed to last up to 6 days on a single charge.
The phone is Military Grade certified which means that the users don’t have to worry about the minor wear and tear, if the phone gets dropped. Additionally, the phone comes with a 1 year replacement service.
As mentioned above, Lava Pulse comes with BP and heart rate sensor. One needs to simply place his/her fingertip on the ‘pulse scanner’ and it will display blood pressure and heart rate immediately on the screen. Other features available on the feature phone are number talker, photo icons for saving contacts, wireless FM with recording and dual SIM support. The phone allows users to type in 7 languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Gujarati and Punjabi.
