Pragya Thakur had expressed her opposition to this resolution of the federal government and mentioned that this may finish the cow dynasty. Earlier, Pragya Thakur had requested CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan to cease this program with rapid impact, she additionally spoke to Animal Husbandry Minister Prem Singh Patel about this. Each had assured him of taking cognizance of the matter.

After this, the Animal Husbandry and Dairying Division issued a quick order saying that the order issued relating to the sterilization of bulls is withdrawn with rapid impact until additional orders.
