TROY, N.Y. — Proper-hander Kumar Rocker agreed Friday to a contract with the unbiased Tri-Metropolis ValleyCats after failing to signal with the New York Mets final summer season.

A 22-year-old right-hander who was a junior at Vanderbilt, Rocker was chosen by the Mets with the tenth general decide in final 12 months’s beginner draft.
