The Mizoram authorities has determined to reopen colleges, universities and different increased academic establishments from March 1, an official assertion stated.
A meeting of Education and Health division officers chaired by Higher and Technical Education Minister Dr R Lalthangliana on Friday determined to reopen colleges, universities and increased academic establishments from March 1, the assertion stated.
The meeting instructed all faculty authorities to undertake necessary thermal screening on the entrance and to strictly comply with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), it stated.
Lalthangliana, who can also be the Health Minister, urged authorities of colleges, colleges, universities and different establishments to adhere to COVID-19 protocols and pointers made from time to time.
Health and household welfare board vice chairman and MLA Dr ZR Thiamsanga and increased and technical schooling board vice chairman and MLA Vanlaltanpuia additionally attended the meeting.
Earlier on Wednesday, the federal government has determined to enable reopening of colleges for college students of courses 5-8 from March 1.
Schools have already reopened for college students of sophistication 9 to 12.
