Motorola teases launch of new smartphone in India – Times of India


NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Motorola will soon launch a new smartphone in India. The company took to Twitter to tease the launch of the upcoming smartphone. The company posted a video on the official Twitter handle which shows a smartphone from different angles.
Motorola India posted a 9-second video that a caption, “Gear up for a spectacular performance and stunning camera! Launching soon on @Flipkart.” With this tweet, the company also confirmed that its upcoming smartphone will be available online on Flipkart.

It is expected that the company might launch the Moto G9 Plus smartphone which recently surfaced online. Popular leakster Evan Blass revealed some of the key specifications of the yet to launch Moto G9 Plus smartphone.
The Moto G9 Plus is said to feature a familiar design and come with a punch-hole display. The rear of the smartphone is expected to sport a quad-camera setup with a 64MP main sensor. Unlike the other Motorola phones, the Moto G9 Plus will not come with a fingerprint sensor embedded on the Moto logo. Instead, the smartphone is said to house a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone is expected to be backed by a 4700mAh battery with 20W fast charging support. Rumours also suggest that with Moto G9 Plus, the company aims to give tough competition to the recently launched OnePlus Nord.
Recently, Motorola started sending out invites for its smartphone launch on September 9. It is expected that the company might launch its second-generation foldable smartphone at the event. The invite shared by the company reads, “flip the smartphone experience once again.” This is yet another hint that Motorola might be launching the second generation of its foldable smartphone.
