The front arches have now been exposed to show just how aggressive the vents in the fenders are. Angled up and outwards, these will surely reduce pressure in the front wheel wells more efficiently than ever before. An additional upright aero appendage on the front bumper is again acting as an air curtain, with this part of a front splitter.
Now for the hood. This has gigantic ducts that will again help with aerodynamics and based on how open these are, we suspect that either this prototype is not showing the production hood or Porsche is intending to make this another active element with movable flaps.
According to the rumor mill, we won’t have long to wait to find out the truth; it is said that the car will be fully unveiled at this week’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, taking place from Thursday 23 June-Sunday 26 June.
