'Nobody chooses to be obese' – 38-year-old lost 13 stone to control chronic lung condition

SHAUN HUGHES who works as an IT manager describes himself as happy, healthy and “in control” of his life. But this has not always been the case. Only three years ago the 38-year-old weighed 28 stone, had a body-mass index of 53 and was struggling to get his asthma under control.
