Protesters cannot be silenced through murder: Varun Gandhi on Lakhimpur incident

BJP MP Varun Gandhi on Thursday posted a video purportedly of the Lakhimpur Kheri incident and stated the protesters can’t be silenced by way of homicide asking for accountability for the farmers. “The video is crystal clear. Protestors can’t be silenced by way of homicide. There must be accountability for the harmless blood of farmers that has been spilled and justice should be delivered earlier than a message of vanity and cruelty enters the minds of each farmer,” the Pilibhit MP stated in a tweet.

He posted a 37-second video by which a rushing Mahindra Thar jeep is seen operating over individuals. Two SUVs — one black and one other white — was seen following the jeep whereas there may be commotion of individuals shouting and crying within the video.

The video, which has gone viral on social medial, is claimed to have been taken on October 3, the day on which violence came about in Lakhimpur Kheri.

Eight individuals have been killed within the violence on Sunday. Of the eight killed, 4 have been farmers, who have been allegedly mowed down by autos pushed by BJP staff travelling to welcome UP Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya to an occasion within the space.

The opposite 4 have been two BJP staff, a driver of Union Minister of State for Dwelling Ajay Kumar Mishra and a journalist working for a personal tv channel.
