A person who tried to tear a big cross from the roof of an east London church has been arrested by police.
Footage posted on social media seems to point out a person repeatedly attempting to tug a wood cross from its base above the doorway to Chadwell Heath Baptist Church in Romford.
With the hood of a coat positioned over the cross the person might be seen utilizing all his drive to launch the cross from the roof of the church.

The Metropolitan Police stated it was known as to the church on Excessive Highway at 2.40pm on Sunday and arrested a person on the scene on suspicion of legal injury.
A spokesman for the drive stated the cross was recovered and the person stays in police custody.
Chadwell Heath Baptist Church has been contacted for remark.
