Shooting in Grant Hill community leaves one injured

A male was shot multiple times during an argument in the Grant Hill community on Friday, San Diego police said.

The shooting was reported about 10 p.m. on K Street near 26th Street.

Police said the victim and another person were walking along K when a silver sedan pulled up. The people in the car and the pair on the sidewalk got into a fight.

Someone in the car shot at the victim several times, and the vehicle was last seen headed west on K. Police didn’t provide any additional suspect descriptions.

The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries police did not believed were life-threatening.
