West Bengal: Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar agrees to administer oath to Mamata Banerjee tomorrow

This was after Meeting Speaker Biman Banerjee requested the Governor to take again his earlier resolution and talked about that “as per Constitutional custom, the Speaker administers the oath”.

However the governor, citing Article 188, wrote a letter to the Speaker that he would administer the oath to the newly-elected members — Mamata Banerjee, Jakir Hossain and Amirul Islam.
