Winning the votes of suburban women


For many years girls have been outvoting males – and it appears this voting bloc has by no means been extra consequential to the result of an election than it’s now. Erin Moriarty of “48 Hours” talks with suburban girls in battleground states (the demographic that helped resolve the 2016 election), and with Lauren Chief, head of the non-partisan voter schooling group All In Collectively, who says girls on each ends of the political spectrum are unusually energized this 12 months – and are being courted closely by each the Trump and Biden campaigns.
